As part of its commitment to supporting deserving young talents in various fields of artistic and scientific knowledge, the Majid Foundation helped Riccardo Sacripante, a talented young researcher, by covering the costs of his doctoral studies in human cognitive neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh.
Under the supervision of Prof. Della Sala, a renowned scholar in neuropsychology, Riccardo’s research project, funded by the Majid Foundation and entitled “Long term accelerated forgetting in Alzheimer’s disease and normal cognitive ageing,” aimed to study forgetting curves in healthy human cognitive aging and in pathological amnesias such as those caused by Alzheimer’s disease.
This project, carried out over three years with potential implications in cognitive neuropsychology, would not have been possible without the generous support provided by the Majid Foundation.
