On December 23, 2025, a meaningful moment of exchange and dialogue took place in the main hall of the CSIA in Lugano, going far beyond a traditional school presentation.
Thanks to the valuable collaboration with the Majid Foundation, third-year Graphic Design students were given the opportunity to work on a real-world project: the development of a Corporate Identity system inspired by the Foundation’s values, mission, and broader context.
Starting from an in-depth analysis phase, the students translated the core principles of the Foundation into a structured and coherent visual identity, designing the logo and its main coordinated graphic applications. A process that required listening skills, sensitivity, and the ability to synthesize – essential competencies for anyone entering the field of design.
The projects were presented to Guglielmina Montano, a member of the Board of the Majid Foundation, during a day dedicated to direct dialogue between students and the institution. An authentic exchange that fostered reflection, questions, and shared perspectives on the role of design as a tool for communication and responsibility.
This experience proved to be a highly valuable educational opportunity, allowing students to engage with the dynamics of a concrete project and to understand how creativity, ethics, and vision can intersect. It stands as a meaningful example of how collaboration between educational institutions and philanthropic organizations can generate value, growth, and new perspectives for the future.
