Davide Montano discovered narrative writing somewhat by chance, as a form of escape during difficult moments in his university studies. This passion gradually took shape as a fantasy story that metaphorically addresses the challenges of transitioning from childhood to adulthood. Pitaya e i frutti del drago is the title of the book, aimed at young readers and adolescents facing the same existential dynamics as Martin, the protagonist, who goes through a series of encounters and situations that deeply mark him and transform him into an adult.
The Majid Foundation appreciated that a young debut author had found a way to express himself and his youthful restlessness through this allegory. The Foundation took on the costs of publishing, thus fulfilling Davide’s dream of seeing his first literary work realized, now available from Palombi Editori.
