Jessica Fracasso is a young writer from Ticino passionate about animals, which she cares for on behalf of the Diamante Foundation, where she works. From a very young age, Jessica began writing and illustrating stories mainly focused on the animal world that fascinates her so much. Her first book of stories, “Four Lost Years: In Search of a Home”, was published in 2021 thanks to the patronage of the Locarno and Valle Animal Protection Society.
The Majid Foundation, positively impressed by the lively creativity of this imaginative girl, helped Jessica publish her second book of stories, illustrated by her and titled “A Fabulous Accident”, hoping to encourage her to continue cultivating her artistic and literary talent. Jessica will be invited to present this book at Maison Majid during 2023.
“Thanks to the Majid Foundation, I was able to publish my books. For me, it was a dream come true! I always wanted to write stories for children and adults and immerse them in my adventures. Thanks to them, I was able to bring my books to schools and even put on an exhibition with my drawings and those of the children. It’s a fantastic experience! In the not-too-distant future, I would like to do this as a real job, writing and illustrating stories and comics. It’s already a job, but it would be nice to do just that as a job, that’s all.”
