THE MAJID FOUNDATION INAUGURATES THE NEW EXHIBITION PROJECT.
The Majid Foundation of Ascona is pleased to announce the important artistic project “ICONEMI” by Maestro Romolo Calciati, which will take place from June 4 to July 29, 2025.
Romolo Calciati was born in Borgolavezzaro (Novara) in 1924. He began painting very young, at 17, and by 28 he had established himself as a painter developing a unique and particular abstract style. Art was his great passion, realized in the creation of his wonderful works. An eclectic artist, writer, and expert numismatist, he lived his art with great love and dedication. His paintings have gained international recognition from prestigious critics and important exhibition curators. A splendid collection of the maestro’s works will be displayed at Maison Majid, ready for your admiration.
