THE MAJID FOUNDATION INAUGURATES THE NEW EXHIBITION BY ARTIST ATEFEH YAZDANI.
The cultural commitment of the Majid Foundation has led to collaborations with various local entities, including Banca Raiffeisen, whose attention and dedication to culture as a fundamental engine for personal and collective development are truly exemplary. This shared vision continues this year with the kind availability of the Bank to host, within its spaces, the solo exhibition of Atefeh Yazdani, a young talented Swiss-Iranian artist whose artistic production is a magnificent expression of the rich artistic and cultural heritage of her country of origin.
The artist masterfully blends painting, calligraphy, and collage inspired by Persian tradition and mystical poets. Atefeh Yazdani’s works reflect a strong and sensual femininity, giving voice to a creative journey deeply marked by the wounds of her country’s recent history.
Uniting tradition and modernity, abstraction and figurative intent, spirituality and civic engagement, femininity and universalism, the works of Swiss-Iranian Atefeh Yazdani stand as a significant example of intercultural art, promising to engage their audience simultaneously with the emotional power of symbolism, the immediacy of pure perception, and the critical distance of intellect.
