THE MAJID FOUNDATION INAUGURATES THE NEW EXHIBITION PROJECT.
The Majid Foundation is pleased to present the exhibition project of Swiss Maestro Dario Bianchi. After an excellent master’s degree path, he enrolled in 1977 at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, graduating in 1981. His return to Ticino, after obtaining his diploma in painting, coincided with his appointment as a teacher of visual arts didactics, initially at the two-year Magistrale, then at the Higher Pedagogical School, and currently at the Department of Education and Learning of SUPSI (University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland). His daily work as a trainer of teachers at various school levels has strongly influenced the overall activity of the painter-teacher, who regularly dedicates himself to the essential and vital practice of painting and drawing. His didactic commitment and practices aimed at raising students’ awareness of aesthetic and artistic dimensions, although not directly merging into his personal creative research, influenced (more than formal results) the choices and reflections underlying them. He has taught art history at UNI3 (University of the Third Age) and is active as a lecturer in the subject.
