A public dialogue took place at Majid between oncologist Piercarlo Saletti and anthropologist Annibale Salsa, titled Narrating Illness: Care and Healing Between Medicine and Anthropology.
The theme of the evening was illness as a traumatic and disorienting event at the limits of human existence, but also as an opportunity for reflection and change, approached differently depending on cultural context.
