From 1 June to 30 September, the works of Maria Kononov, a young artist of Russian origin born in the United States, will be exhibited at the Regional Hospital La Carità in Locarno.
A child prodigy, Maria Kononov exhibited for the first time at the age of eight.
She is internationally known: her exhibitions have been held with great success in numerous major cities including Moscow, St. Petersburg, New York, Milan, Rome, London, Paris, Vienna, and Amsterdam.
The artist was a guest at the Majid Foundation in 2019 and stands as an example of young talent supported by the Foundation in her artistic journey.
