For some years now, the Cinema e Filosofia series has been organized by the Majid Foundation and Collegio Papio of Ascona, in collaboration with Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan, the PHLM Research Center for Philosophy and Cinema, and Orizzonti Filosofici.
The theme of the third edition was Scenarios of Contemporary Times, based on the belief that cinema can be an original place for philosophical elaboration of our time. The series consisted of three parts, covering very different films all related to complex and problematic contemporary issues such as artificial intelligence, the notion of truth, and the relationship between communication and the capacity to imagine the future.
