At Majid, a fashion show was held featuring students from the Scuola Arti e Mestieri della Sartoria (SAMS) in Lugano. They presented a series of dresses and shirts inspired by the work of internationally renowned Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos, whose solo exhibition Flowers of My Desire is on display from June 15 to October 12, 2025, at the Municipal Museum of Modern Art in Ascona.
Among the designers whose garments were showcased, three winners were selected. They will have the opportunity to spend a two-week training period in Lisbon at Joana Vasconcelos’s atelier, made possible thanks to the financial support of the Majid Foundation.
